We create 'Schools of Hope' in the slums to give children access to education

Story

I am Adam, and I am five. This Easter Holiday I will be walking 5 miles with my brother and our friends from The Dylan Thomas Theatre to Mumbles. If we get there (which we will) I will be getting an ice cream and a lift home!

We are raising sponsorship money for Schoolchildren for Children you can see their details below.

This sponsorship would mean a disadvantaged child would receive school fees, uniform and a nutritious lunch in school each day, or allow them to attend the homework club each evening.

Most of us would rather not do our homework, however for the children at St Prisca's Children's programme they can't do their homework at home as they often have no space or light to do so. This homework club provides them with, up to date curriculum text books, secure library book space, desks and chairs for each student, and electric lighting from the mains or via a generator. There is also the opportunity to learn life skills and take part in music, sports and drama.

Thank you for your time, why not take a look at the charities own website, perhaps you might like to sponsor a child for £15 per month. That is less than 50p a day!

ChallengeAid (CA) raises money through sponsored challenges in the UK. None of the money raised is used for admin purposes. With that money we create Schools of Hope in slums in East Africa to allow aspirational children, through education, to escape the cycle of poverty in which they are trapped.
