Greater funding into dementia research is the only way we will do so.

Covid stopped us in our tracks in 2020 and all our fundraising plans had to stop.... unlike dementia which continues to wreck lives and change our loved ones so much.  Covid has also taken a heavy toll of those with dementia, either in care or in hospital and those caring at home for them have had  and are still having a terribly difficult time.  

It's a disease which can happen to anyone and not just older people 

                We want to end this heartache - and YOU can help!

We are also delighted to be receiving the profits from a newly  published autobiography by our supporter, popular entertainer  Geoff Rushworth: "From Shrewsbury to Hollywood"  

          It's a great read and could be a nice Easter gift

About 1m people are living with one or other type of dementia in the UK, and many of us  know only too well the devastating impact that these cruel diseases can have on the individual and their families. 

Our Fundraising Group has been fortunate enough to visit some of the charity's laboratories and personally hear from scientists we help to fund, all about the pioneering dementia research that is being carried out.

It means a lot to be able to speak directly to the scientists and know where the money goes!
