Story
When I was 22 years of age I was told my mum had terminal Cancer. This was my first real experience of the devestating effect Cancer can have, and the memories will never leave me. Since then, however, I have seen friends and family enter this fight with Cancer and some are fighting still, some are winning and some have come through the other side and won. This victory is helped by Charities such as Cancer Research UK and the amazing people who support them. On 9th October 2011 I will be running The Liverpool Marathon to help raise money for Cancer Research UK. I know times are tough at the moment but if you can spare some cash then it will help increase the chances that the people you may know fighting this terrible illness will win. Please spare what you can afford and donate through this link to Cancer Research UK. Thank you for reading this and thank you for considering donating to this very worthwhile cause. With your help we can help more and more people win this battle against Cancer. In loving memory of my Mum xxx
