Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Cameroon Catalyst is a development charity, mainly run by Civil Engineering students at the University of Southampton with the assistance of professional engineers and specialists, which focuses on raising money to construct and improve infrastructure in rural Cameroon.

The current focus for the years 2015 and 2016 is water sanitation, with the current aim to construct a protected spring system, along with digging, capping and protecting a well, and further mapping the water supply in the area for the further development of supplying clean water and disposing of waste safely in future years. This year, we hope to be able to provide clean water to around 350 people and carry out work across three of the local villages.

By taking part in the Three Peaks Challenge, we hope to raise enough money for the materials needed for this year's project and to raise awareness of our charity and its work. For more information, please visit: www.camerooncatalyst.org
