Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I am fundraising to support the Mission and Evangelism Department of the Anglican Church of Tanzania which is working in mission and evangelism projects and training across the country in all the different dioceses.
I am a mission partner with CMS working for this department and CMS are helping us with this fundraising by receiving your donations and sending them on to us.

You can support us in a range of different projects:

1. Training of lay evangelists who are extremely active and play important roles in their local churches but usually have no training. It costs around £2000 to carry out a week long training course in one zone of Tanzania, for up to 100 evangelists. We have already carried out courses in 2 zone, and there are still 3 to go!

2. Training courses in music and worship. These courses are for talented musicians who are active in music ministry in their churches. We teach practical musical skills together with many aspects of music ministry to enable them to serve God more effectively through their ministry to which he has called them. It costs just £60 to put a student through a month long training course, and we are also looking to run some short courses in individual churches

4. Each year we run a conference for mission and evangelism coordinators from all the dioceses of the Anglican Church of Tanzania. The cost of this conference is around £3000. It is an important conference to encourage and equip church leaders who are leading the evangelistic work of their dioceses.

5. We are looking to employ a mission and evangelism coordinator and need funds for their salary and general costs for coordinating mission and evangelism work across the country
