SAY YES TO GIFT AID! (if you're a UK taxpayer)
Starting on June 23rd, our 9 man team are walking to the peaks of Scotland, England and Wales' biggest mountains, all within 24 hours. That's 26 miles of walking, over 450 miles of driving and ascending nearly 10,000 feet.
Saturday
5pm - Climb Ben Nevis. The highest mountain in the British Isles, 4,409ft above sea level.
8pm - Reach the peak, perform a headstand, you know, for fun!
10pm - Sit in a minivan for 6 hours.
Sunday
4am - Climb Scafell Pike. England's highest mountain, 3,209ft.
6am - See the sun rise upside down, another headstand at the peak.
8am - Sit in a minivan for 5 hours
1pm - Climb Snowdon. 3,560 ft, the highest mountain Wales has to offer.
3pm - Everything in North Wales is pretty back to front already, would anyone notice my third headstand in 19 hours?
5pm - 24 hours after the start, all will be complete. The UK's largest mountains leaving their imprint with numerous blisters and jellylegs. And for me, probably a sore head too!
Now obviously, no normal person would do this just for fun, so any donation, regardless of amount, is truly welcome. The money goes straight to Cancer Research UK and helps them continue saving lives young and old. They can claim an extra 25% of your donation if you remember to tick the Gift Aid box, that one extra click goes a long way.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
