We fund research to stop prostate cancer killing men

Story

It's that time of year again, when a team of very fit and committed individuals brace themselves against the Great British Summer and pit their wits against a serious challenge in the hope of raising funds for charity.

We have perhaps foolishly volunteered to cycle unaided from Whitehaven in Cumbria to Tynemouth in North Tyneside.  This represents a distance of over 140 miles and covers some of the hilliest terrain in England including passage through Allenheads, England's highest village.

Why are we putting ourselves through this prolonged bout of saddle soreness?  Well it's all to support the amazing work The Prostate Cancer Charity do to educate, raise awareness and fund research into curing this awful disease that kills over 10,000 men every year in the UK.

4ps, the whole team and The Prostate Cancer Charity would very greatly appreciate any donation you can offer to our effort and this worthy cause.

Thanking you in advance.
