Everyman is an appeal run by The Institute of Cancer Research (ICR). Every year some 10,000 men lose their lives to prostate cancer and over 2,000 others have their world turned upside down by a diagnosis of testicular cancer. These men are the reason we are fundraising for male specific cancers.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

There's a small group of us; James Helliwell, Vicky Storey, Richard Brown, Jahan Rashid (Rash), Sarah Diana, Brian Shardlow and John Boreham doing the 4 peaks super challenge in June, we're looking for volunteers to join in (the more the merrier), or if you're unable to join the adventure, please sponsor us and donate money to a good cause.
We're raising money for the institute for cancer research, drawing particular attention to the Everyman Campaign, which raises awareness of prostate and testicular cancers. Incicentally Everyman Month falls in June, as does Mens Health Week (June 14-20th 2010).

The challenge involves climbing the highest mountains in Ireland, England, Scotland and Wales, and includes the 1100 mile drive between said mountains, all in the space of 40 hours... that means no sleep, for two days! And lots of aching.
More details to follow, but please let me know if you want to join in on the mighty trek :)
