Story
Thanks for your donations.. the official 3 peaks challenge fell through due to transport problems. However I did climb Snowdon and Scafell Pike myself and you can read my blog here
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
We are setting out on the 27th June 2010 to start our 3 peaks challenge , the tallest peak in Scotland,England and Wales in 24 hours!!
On the 28th we start!. Ben Nevis first, the highest of the three peaks at 1344 metres (4409 ft), has only one
main path, Unlike Snowdon and Scarfell Pike, the path to Ben Nevis
starts close to sea
level, meaning much greater vertical ascent.
The last Mountain is Snowdon the tallest mountain In Wales at 1,085 metres (3,560 ft).
With about 11 hours of traveling time between mountains, this leaves about 13 hours maximum to climb the three peaks and this makes it a real challenge.
All this is in aid of the JACK BROWN CHARITY run by the 2simple Trust. The 2Simple Trust supports disadvantaged children both in education and in relief of sickness (Currently Neuroblastoma). So please dig deep and give what you can for this worthwhile cause. Thank you
