As manufacturers of hearing protection equipment 3M is passionate about hearing conservation.  Noise-Induced Hearing Loss (NIHL), caused by exposure to loud noise at work, affects thousands of people.  Indeed, the most recent Health & Safety Executive statistics estimate that 15,000 people working  during the last year suffered from NIHL.  Sadly, NIHL is irreversible, but it is preventable.  That's why 3M are partnering with Action on Hearing Loss to raise awareness & funds to tackle this very serious issue.
