COPS is a UK charity dedicated to helping the families of police officers and police staff who have lost their lives on duty to rebuild their lives. We aim to ensure that surviving family members have the help they need to cope with such tragedy and they remain part of the police family.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This year I will be taking part in the Police Unity Tour 2016 in honour of Constable Andrew Duncan. (End of watch: 22/09/2013).

Andy, a South London traffic officer, was rushed to hospital after he was mowed down by a car travelling at speed he had signalled to pull over. He died of his injuries two days later. He is survived by his wife and two children.

I'm asking for donations to the Care of Police Survivors Charity, who do a superb job of looking after the survivors of those who give the ultimate sacrifice, long after the police service has withdrawn. Please give anything you can for this worthwhile cause. It's a great comfort to know that our families and friends will be looked after, should anything happen to us.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
