Story
I'm fundraising for IDAS because I believe that everyone has the right to live a life free from abuse and violence. As the largest specialist charity in Yorkshire, each year IDAS supports over 20,000 women, men and children affected by domestic abuse and sexual violence. They provide refuge support, access to a free, confidential out-of-hours helpline, outreach services and specialist support through the criminal justice system. Every penny I raise will help to support their life-saving services.
I am staying on my own, in the dark for an entire night with "The World's Most Violent Poltergeist". Being stuck with a malevolent negative force you feel trapped by is a good metaphor as to how domestic abuse can feel. It will be terrifying but I get let out in the morning. Not everyone else does. Please donate and share.
