Bergen to Oslo - Cycling across Norway to raise money for the Teenage Cancer Trust
So, I haven't ridden a bike in 15 years and I'm going to cycle over 300 miles with my tent on my bike, eating and drinking what I find on the way. Think of it more as a bet than a donation! But it's a win-win situation: if I don't make it all the way then you get your money back, if I do make it then you've helped to fund a state-of-the-art unit for young people and teenagers with cancer at the Royal Marsden Hospital where Jacob is being treated.
I have known Jacob for over 10 years and I taught him piano for several years. I have seen him grow up to be a considerate, loving person and an extraordinary musician. Since his illness I have felt a bit paralysed, wanting to do something for him but not being able to think of anything useful to do. Now I have something that I can do for him (although whether it is useful is another question!) and you can do something too by donating.
Thanks,
Sam Bailey
