Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit this JustGiving page, we really appreciate your support.

An intrepid A.M.Nomikos team consisting of Mark Ravenscroft (Mountain Mark), Alex Wood (Al-titude) and Ashley Keyte (Cliff hanger Keyte) from A.M. Nomikos London office will be taking part in the Three Peaks Challenge between 20–23 June 2014.

The team will attempt to conquer three of the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales; Ben Nevis (1344m/4406ft) in Scotland, Helvellyn (950m/3118ft) in the Lake District and Snowdon (1085m/3560ft)in Wales, within 24 hours and in the fastest time possible, in aid of the Sailors' Society, who do so much to help seafarers and their families worldwide..

The Sailor's Society offers vital links to crews and their families caught up in these desperate situations and makes a real difference to the welfare of all those in peril at sea. 90% of world trade travels by ship and very few of people realize the incredible challenges that a life at sea entails for brave crews enduring long months of separation from their families in harsh environments. Please see http://www.sailors-society.org/ for further details of their invaluable work and activities.
