Story
Introducing 28 Gigs Later
A charity challenge set up in June 2008, in aid of Leukaemia Research. A dear friend of mine, Emma Black tragicially died of Leukaemia, when she was just 9 years old. I will always remember Emma helping me organise the football goals, using jumpers. She touched so many hearts.
Having not performed on stage before, I felt 28 charity gigs would build up my confidence, performing solo with just my Acoustic Guitar.
Music has always influenced and inspired me in life. Artists such as John Lennon, Bob Dylan and Neil Young, along with the influx of recent talent such as Stephen Fretwell, Damien Rice and Tom Baxter meant that I never struggled to find inspiration.
The Goal
To complete 28 gigs on the 28th October 2009. This will be my 30th Birthday, and I will be performing the final gig in a venue down under.
