Story

Row for Life 2010

.....is an amazing event supporting the work of may charity the Africa Childrens Development Trust.  We fund projects in Uganda through a number of initiatives that encompass health, education & agriculture.

Last year we raised £5000, this year we are aiming for £10,000!

We will be rowing 800,000 metres non stop for 2.5 days on static rowing machines in St Thomas Square, Newport, Isle of Wight!

Why 800,000??  That is the number of children who die from malaria each year in sub-sahara Africa, and one of the things we do is distribute mosquito nets to children in Uganda!

This year we are also focused on building a new school for 550 children who live in Ndeeba one of the slum areas on Kampala.

Please support our work trying to help these children, it means the world to me & I am so grateful for your kindness xx
