Now, a staggering 13.4 million people are in need of humanitarian assistance. Without even basic food men, women and children are going hungry and are struggling to survive.

6 million people have been displaced within Syria including in the north of the country. A recent escalation in violence has forced families to flee and our brothers and sisters are unsure of how they’ll survive one day to the next.

As food prices continue to rise around the world, our brothers and sisters in Syria are struggling to afford even the most simplest of foods such as bread.

This Ramadan, IlmFeed have teamed up with Islamic Relief who run a bread factory in Northern Syria to provide bread to thousands of families who have been forced to flee their homes with nothing.

Bread is an essential food for the Syrian people and vital for their survival during these testing times. Flour will be provided to bakeries which can bake this bread in huge quantities and then the baked bread will be distributed to the most needy.
