Welsh 15 Peaks... WE DID IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It took 17.5 hours from the top of the first peak to the top of the last which is how the challenge is measured, but we were walking for a total of 22 hours.
This is possibly the hardest thing I've ever done yet also one of the best. If it hadnt been for everyone's support I would have stopped before I got up the fourth mountain Elidir Fawr which nearly killed me. But knowing I was so close to raising £1k for Sea Shepherd I kept on going :-)
THANK YOU, FOR YOUR SUPPORT, I'M EVER SO CLOSE TO GETTING THE TARGET, IF YOU KNOW FOLK WHO COULD DONATE PLEASE ASK THEM TO HELP, THIS PAGE WILL STAY UP FOR OTHER CHALLENGES

Im so grateful to everybody for their wonderful support and messages, the oceans thank you!
I've conquered my fear of heights to raise £1,000 for Sea Shepherd... please support me in reaching my target!!
“Based on estimates for the current Antarctic Whaling Season, I estimate that it has cost £3,000 to save each whale over our campaigns in the Southern Ocean.” Sea Shepherd spokesperson
Please support me to raise money for Sea Shepherd by sponsoring my walk of the Welsh 15 Peaks
Ive been training really hard with my trusty friend Pinkle the dog. Over the last few months we've clocked up 1000s of kilometres and metres of ascent, trudging around the best and highest parts of Wales. We've met some great folk along the way ( people doing the route on mountain bikes, people unable to distinguish Tryfan from glyder fawr, someone riding around the country and wild camping amongst many) and had some minor adventures (lost in fog, running up snowdon without water and nearly passing out, getting leg trapped in rocks on Moel Siabod...)
Now I'm ready for the biggest walk yet... 48km with over 4000m of ascent in less than 24 hours...aaaaargh!
The walk
Starting at 3.30am on Saturday June 5th with the aim of completing by 3.30am on Sunday June 6th (walking through the night... no sleep) Im setting off with a group of fellow vegans to climb all 15 of the highest peaks in Wales (all over 3,000 feet)
Starting at Pen y Pas as the sun rises we will first scale the Crib Goch ridge before going on to climb Crib y Ddysgl, Snowdon, Elidir Fawr, Y Garn, Glyder Fawr, Glyder Fach, Tryfan, Pen yr Ole Wen, Carnedd Dafydd, Carnedd Llewelyn, Yr Elen, Foel Grach, Garnedd Uchaf and Foel-fras.
I need you support
Its a long, long way requiring all my will power, stamina and training and most importantly YOUR support!
Im doing this to raise money for Sea Shepherd to fund money that will help their fight to protect whales, dolphin, seals, turtles and other marine creatures... THEY NEED YOUR HELP!!!!
I want to raise at least £1,000 its a huge amount of money but Im walking a huge amount of miles, please support me in my challenge to raise a minimum of £1,000 , together we'll be saving just a third of a whale!
Sea Shepherd
Established in 1977, Sea Shepherd Conservation Society (SSCS) is an international non-profit, marine wildlife conservation organization. Our mission is to end the destruction of habitat and slaughter of wildlife in the world's oceans in order to conserve and protect ecosystems and species.
Sea Shepherd uses innovative direct-action tactics to investigate, document, and take action when necessary to expose and confront illegal activities on the high seas. By safeguarding the biodiversity of our delicately-balanced ocean ecosystems, Sea Shepherd works to ensure their survival for future generations.
Their work is vital to help maintain our oceans, we may not be able to help on board their ships but we can help by donating money.
Im doing this walk with a group of fellow vegans... Why vegan?
There are many reasons for being vegan which range from environmental to health and beyond. But for me veganism is a philosophy that aims to inflict the least amount of suffering to our fellow sentient creatures. Vegans do not eat any animal products including meat, eggs, dairy or fish nor do we wear leather, wool or any other animal product. To learn more about veganism visit www.vegansociety.co.uk www.vegan15peaks.info
Thank you so much for your support.
