Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On May 25th I'm going to be attempting to beat the world record for the number of countries visited in 24 hours by using only scheduled/public transport. The current record of 11 countries was set in 1993 and I'm hoping to beat this by visiting 12.
I'll be starting in France at around 7am (CEST). There are a few VERY tight connections along the way but, with a bit of luck, I'll arrive in Austria 24 hours later having passed through a further 10 countries along the way.
Sands is an incredible charity supporting anyone who has been affected by the death of a baby before, during or shortly after birth. The support given to my sister and her family by Surrey Sands 6 years ago after the tragic loss of her baby, Tilly Rose, just 5 days before her due date was incredible.
I'm hoping that in the course of this world record attempt I can raise a few pounds for this wonderful charity.
