We care for children with shortened lives to support them and their families.

Story

On the 21st of July 2007 Steve (On the right) and  Ming (Me on the right) are taking part in a 1100 mile charity bike ride endurance event.  The event will take place over 4 1/2 days and will involve five teams of two, of which we are one, riding continuously one hour on and four hours off (relay style) 24 hrs a day.  We set of from Barnsley at 10:00am on the 21st and will ride to Buckingham palace.  From here we go to Cardiff Arms Park.  We then turn north to Edinburgh before turning round and coming home to Barnsley.  We have worked out the route to 1100 miles conditions permitting.

We are our own support crew and sleep in, and drive the van in the four hour window.

Having done similar things fatigue is our biggest enemy.

We are very committed to this and have given up enormous amounts of time and a not inconsiderable amount of our own money to prepare.

If you can see it in your heart to give a little to a very good cause it will make the long, hard, tiring nights more than worth while.  Every penny helps even the price of a beer!!
