We support families affected by MSA to increase knowledge of this awful disease

Story

Hi and thanks for visiting.

In 2011 I decided to start raising funds for the MSA Trust. This was, at the time, because my Dad had been diagnosed with MSA. Since then I have lost my Dad to MSA but I want to continue raising money for this trust as the work they do is invaluable to patient, carers, and to the research into this disease.

In 2011 I completed a solo Land's End to John O'Groats walk in 49 days, covering 917miles (1475km) which I documented in a daily blog http://1000milewalkies.blogspot.co.uk/ feel free to take a look.

This justgiving page has been open since just before that wak but was set to one side as there were other serious family issues to attend to at that time which thankfully had a very positive outcome.

I have now managed to get a place on the London Marathon in April 2014. This is a ballot place so I am not at liberty to raise money but it seems like a wasted opportunity if I don't try. With that in mind I thank you for visiting, reading, and hopefully donating a few of your hard earned pounds to the MSA Trust.

Please dig deep and donate.
