A Million Reasons to Save Magpas Helimedix
Since 1971 Magpas has treated over 25,000 people. People who through no fault of their own became seriously injured or ill and needed help. Sometimes people are just unlucky.
Now we need your help to survive financially and give people the best chance of life.
Magpas Helimedix provide expert volunteer teams of doctors and paramedics who respond across East Anglia during day and night to reach people like Debbie, who was a girl walking home from school, or people like Mark, who was riding his motorbike home after work. The actions of our highly trained teams mean these people and many others like them are still around.
Sometimes the team will respond by helicopter, or by car, it doesn’t matter as long as we reach the patient. We support the Ambulance service by bringing A&E level skills and experience to help them treat the poor person at the middle of the unluckiest moment of their life.
This map shows some of the people we’ve helped in the last 4 months – how many of them are on roads you know, or places you visited?
We desperately need money to continue our life saving work. Over 5.5 million people are within reach of our team if they unfortunately need them, so if everyone gave just £1 we can continue making a real difference.
