On the 17th of May, 2013, Carol Moss lost her fight to Cancer. Throughout her illness she was incredbly brave and positive and just tried to get on with everything.

Everyone who knew her, knows how fun loving and driven she was. She loved being active and swimming competitively. Just 3 months before Carol found out she had cancer, she was still winning swiming medals and running the Poole Park 5km run on a saturday morning.

Carol's life was cut short, no one could have ever guessed that today she wouldn't be with us.

What we know though, is that if Carol was here today she would be entering swimming races, running races and it would have been her idea to do the Bournemouth Pier to Pier swim or the Swim Marathon.

So that is what we ( her family and friends) are doing.

Bournemouth Pier to Pier swim: Alexander and Joanne swimming for Team Carol

Bournemouth Half Marathon: Alexander, Anna, Samuel and Joanne running for team Carol

The Swim Marathon: Clive, Alexander, Anna, Samuel, Joanne and Shirley swimming for Team Carol

Trek the Sahara: Clive, Alexander, Anna, Samuel and Joanne walking for Team Carol.

We ask for any donations that you are able to make whether it is pounds or pennies.  If anyone would like to join in with any of these events and help to raise money for team Carol please let one of us know and we can add names to teams.

All the money goes to Forest Holme, the hospice that made Carol incredible comfortable and happy in her last few weeks. The staff were so kind and caring to all of us, not just Carol and they really made a difference.
